“What a debut! The two young musicians presents us with remarkable instrumental command and maturity on an album that is impressive in every which way.”
- Terje Mosnes, about “Undertowed” for Dagbladet (Norway).

Endeleg!

Finally it is here! This music stretches over a vide spectrum of  styles, drawing from classical as well as improvised music traditions. Their intuitive hookup is simply fantastic. Here we are talking about two souls and one thought, and in that way of listening to each other, they create great music. A winning album from a winning duo!”

JOHANNES CORNELL – DAGENS NYHETER (Swedish) 4/5 :

“The music is picturesque and detailed, exquisitely balanced between improvisation and composition; as between chambermusic and jazz. The way they play together reminds me of a subtle pairdance where emphatic gestures is being stated first by one, then the other”

PAULA BJERTNES – HAMAR ARBEIDERBLAD (Norwegian) :

“You havent heard guitar and piano playing together like this before! The way they draw from european art music, as well as modern jazz, provides a completely distinctive sound from the two. This ever surprising release, with its dynamic and driving compositions, shines with the elegant use of energy.”
ARILD RØNSEN – JAZZNYTT (Norwegian)
“I have granted myself some time with my phone switched completely off, in the company of the two gentlemen Ferner and Juliusson lately. I will promise you that anyone who delves into this exercise, will extract and collect energy.
Truly original. Remarkably well played.”
